The service was quick and professional

I purchased a used car, and the brake pad literally fell out. Brake fluid spilled everywhere, and I pulled into a break check and called a tow. A stranger walked in and told them he was getting his daughter’s car fixed, and he paid for all of my services as well. It was such a blessing. I’m not saying that will be everyone’s experience here, but a year later, I only go to this service center and I’ve never had an issue. This is honestly a great place to get your vehicle serviced. The new manager here is also very knowledgeable, and the staff is helpful.

Where to start. I always go to these guys for oil changes because it’s friendly, cheap and fast(except the last time where they charged me $80 for an oil change that normally costs a 1/3 of that due to the system being down but I let that slide even though it was a red flag. Today I went to get my breaks changed around 11:30 or 12. I told the young man at counter I needed my break pads changed. I then hand him my keys and he says “give us 30-45 minutes”..good time so I went to eat in order to pass some time. About 40 minutes pass and then I head back to the shop. Now post diagnosis they produce a litany of problems that equal to almost $600! I can change my owns breaks..I go and get them done out of convenience. I know how cheap these materials are and how easy they are to install. I’m not stupid. Plus I just asked you to change my pads. I didn’t ask for an inspection! If I wanted to change the rotors I would have done it myself!! Finally the manager(great guy and I’ve had nothing but good interactions with him including today) said he would drop the price and he did substantially which I appreciated. But my time I will never get back. After dropping the price the manager comes back and tells me that they do not have to correct break pads so I courier from a neighboring location would bring the part. The guy was coming from Round Rock and then brings the part to the wrong location. How does this happen? We have Google Maps, Waze, Apple Maps and people still get lost? How? I am normally a respectful and calm person but they brought the devil out of me today. Once again the discount was appreciated but the execution was poor all around. I don’t know if I will ever go back to this location and this is regrettable because they are great for oil changes. In summation this could have been avoided had the techs I interacted with would have been forthright. Don’t say the inspection is 30 minutes and then take over an hour to inspect. When I first arrived it was not busy at all. Secondly, just give the customer what they ask for..it doesn’t matter. I will just go back to doing my own work. I appreciate the manager’s gesture and the discount that was given to me but I think I am done with this company. Edit: I changed the review. I was grumpy today when they told me about my two bald tires and front end alignment issues so the manager cut me a good deal on the tires, alignment and oil change. I felt bad afterwards because it needed to be done I just didn't want to spend the money right now because things are tight. They did a good job and I will be back.
