How do I know if I need brake repair?
Squeaking or grinding, steering wheel shake while braking, longer stops, a soft pedal, or warning lights are all common signs. We’ll check it all so start with a free inspection.

Can my brake rotors be resurfaced instead of replaced?
We typically recommend replacing rotors as part of a complete brake repair because they provide the best braking performance, reduce the likelihood of vibration and noise, and give your new brake pads the best surface to perform as designed.
If you’d like to explore resurfacing, we’ll measure your existing rotors and let you know if they’re within manufacturer specifications and safe to resurface. If they are, resurfacing could save you some money. Unlike many shops, we’re proud to still offer rotor resurfacing when it’s appropriate.

How much does brake service cost?
When you book online, our Premium Lifetime Brake Packages start at $79.88 per axle for eligible passenger cars, $99.88 for trucks and SUVs, and $139.88 for Euro and Sports Performance vehicles.
Packages include brake pads, installation, rotor labor, and a Lifetime Brake Pad Warranty. New rotors, additional parts and services, taxes, and shop fees are extra. A free inspection will determine what your vehicle needs.
Our online estimator will give you a starting point, and a free inspection helps determine exactly what’s needed, so you only pay for the parts and services your vehicle requires.
Our labor rate is $120 per hour on all mechanical services. Our scale, specialization, and decades of experience allow us to provide real value for Texas drivers.

No, we only install brake parts purchased through Brake and Tire Check. We source our brake pads and rotors directly, which means you get the same, but usually better pricing, than the automotive retail stores. Plus, our brake pads come with a Lifetime Warranty, and you can feel confident we’re installing the right parts for your vehicle.
