Absolutely amazing and honest service. I came in to get the brakes checked because they felt pretty soft. They could have sold me brakes or pads, but Cody was very upfront and said, "Actually, you don't need new brakes or pads. Everything looks good here. We're just going to flush it and get you back on the road." He could have sold me things, but he didn't, and I have so much respect for that. The flush did what it was supposed to do, and the car is driving better already.

I appreciate Cody, Devon, and Abriel so much this morning ! I was already a customer of Brake And Tire Check for my oil changes, but today I went in with a concern about my alignment and they promptly inspected my car and let me know what the issue was. They then invited me into the service bay to look under the car to see how the alignment system worked, what they were going to service for me, and showed me the result. The time spent with me and the education I received wasn't necessary but made my experience with Brake Check fantastic. Instantly my car drove better and I feel safer on the road. Recommend them fully!

Took our 2009 H3 Hummer in for brakes, found out we needed rotors and 1 tire rod replaced. They also did alignments and we really needed that as well. When I tell you the customer service here is awesome!! Our vehicle is old so of course there was a hiccup, but I wish I got his name but he stayed past his shift time(2 hours) to drill out a broken part. We are grateful. Communication was great! Thanks to All of the staff from the manager on down for getting us back on the road safely.

Best place ever. I drive a car that’s falling apart but it’s cute. Z3 convertible. I messed up and went to Firestone on Congress close to downtown. Don’t go there. They sent me home with my car dangerously missing a bolt trying to sell me something else to fix the problem. It was making a clunking sound. Initially they said they couldn’t hear it then after buying three tires from them and looked at it while it was in the air and wanted to charge me for struts. Today I just happened to be driving my brake check that normally worked on my car. They bolted the problem/fixed it and replaced a headlight for less than $100. Glad to be back. Live and learn 🤦‍♀️ We women are so vulnerable glad Brake Check has our back. 🙏🏼 God bless them

Great place, great people! My wife was in the process of getting her brakes checked out when all of a sudden she began to feel ill. Since google only allows one review I feel like this one has more weight than my last good review 3 years ago. A week ago I brought my car in to get the brakes and rotors replaced. Not even a week later I found out 2 lug nuts and wheel studs were stripped when put back on. I brought my car back in expecting the worst. However, they not only fixed the mistake. But went above and beyond to address and fix the issue. This says a lot about this location and the management currently over seeing operations. Mistakes happen, but the most important part is how a company addresses the mistake. Brake and Tire Check hit this out of the park. Thank you again for being a reliable and trustworthy company

Five-star review for Jacob at Just Brakes & Tire, Harker Heights I had an outstanding experience with Jacob, the manager at Just Brakes & Tire in Harker Heights. I pulled in right as they opened, and Jacob immediately took the time to listen to what was going on with my vehicle. He personally checked it out, diagnosed the issue, and clearly explained that the rotors needed attention along with replacing all four brake pads. What impressed me most was how much Jacob handled at once without ever losing his composure or commitment to customer service. While taking care of my car, he was answering phones, assisting roughly six other customers, checking in on the technicians, and proactively calling in additional help. He managed everything with calm, professionalism, and genuine grace. Jacob was also transparent and highly informative. He showed me the wear and damage on the brakes and rotors, explained how my driving habits, especially driving at higher speeds, can contribute to that wear, and made sure I understood what was needed and why. I never felt pressured or confused. I felt educated, empowered, and confident that I was receiving a cost-effective solution for my vehicle. These guys saved me big time. I was on my Harley and had a breakdown. Luckily I was able to get off the road in a safe place and looked over and saw the shop. I walked over and asked if they could loan me a wrench to do a roadside repair. Anthony was nice enough to let me use his wrench to fix it. This saved me quite a bit of money as I would have had to go buy one or uber to the house and then uber back with a wrench. Took our 2009 H3 Hummer in for brakes, found out we needed rotors and 1 tire rod replaced. They also did alignments and we really needed that as well. When I tell you the customer service here is awesome!! Best place ever. I drive a car that’s falling apart but it’s cute. Z3 convertible. I messed up and went to Firestone on Congress close to downtown. Don’t go there. They sent me home with my car dangerously missing a bolt trying to sell me something else to fix the problem. It was making a clunking sound. Initially they said they couldn’t hear it then after buying three tires from them and looked at it while it was in the air and wanted to charge me for struts. Today I just happened to be driving my brake check that normally worked on my car. They bolted the problem/fixed it and replaced a headlight for less than $100. Glad to be back. Live and learn 🤦‍♀️ We women are so vulnerable glad Brake Check has our back. 🙏🏼 God bless them

Great visit to the 1604/military Hwy location. I was a walk in at 12:00 and was driving out by 3:00, Mark and team was able to do the inspection, show and educate me on what needed to be done new front rotors, new front pads and need brake fluid. I listen to what other were paying for oil changes and guess where I will be going from now on, $30-40 dollars cheaper then were I was going…I love the no pressure sales. Will definitely be coming back for other services.

My OEM dealership quoted me 3-weeks in-the-shop to get around to checking my alignment. Break Check had an opening the same day as my inquiry. I also had a squeal in my breaks I asked them to check when I got there. They checked the breaks… rear rotors shot, front rotors could be turned and live a little longer. That saved me about $200. Breaks good as new now. Alignment went well too. I had hit a karma pothole doing something I shouldn’t have… picked-up a shimmy in the front right… wheels balanced twice at a tire shop… shimmy persisted. Break Check alignment has stopped the shimmy. It’s been 100 miles now… not one shimmy. Staff was professional and easy going. Cost was reasonable but my standards. I noticed they do oil changes… plan to switch to Break Check for my next oil change. Just a great experience all the way around for me. Hope yours is too…. Update: Here I am two years later… traded my F150 for an F250 (used) 18 months ago. I put 60K miles on it and the brakes have been squealing for about 2-months. Finally made an appointment online at Brake Check, took it in (also was due for an oil change). While returning my brakes to “like factory new” was out of my price range, they worked with me – without judgement – to dial the job into my price range. New rotors on front. Resurfaced rotors on back. New pads all the way around. And oil change. Price was right where I expected it to be, and reasonable. No brake squeal now. They updated the oil life in the trucks memory, and posted my next oil change mileage on the windshield. They guessed at how long it would take, and nailed it! Right as my wife drove me back up to the building, they were driving my truck out for the road test. About ten minutes later, I was getting on with my day. Best wishes with your service!

Dec 2023 Welcomed me immediately. Responsible repair in a timely manner. Jerry showed me parts on my F-150 and explained expectations with costs. I went back 4-17-2025 to treat a braking issue. Because I added new calipers and I can brake much quicker and I have a shorter braking distance. New visit. Truck doesn't roll free like it did before 9-5 when they turned rotors. Went back to install calipers and front rotors after all. Total cost ~$2500 for 4 rotors 4 calipers and warranted brakes. Several visits accounted for extras costs.

Shout to Alex! Called and did not either have a long while before picking up or no answer as to other businesses not answering. Professional with answering each question and with my work schedule, made an accomodating time that worked best for me. The price was also great without breaking my pocket and also gave me information on oil change deals & promotion just being a valued customer. Thank You

Kind and helpful people. I was greeted when I pulled up. I asked about an oil change. I was told about their "slick deal" for frequent customers. Alan asked if there was any special concerns. I expressed my rear windshield wiper needed to be replaced, however, I would get it from O'Reilly. The manager Ahmad was also very friendly. This is one place I will be back.
